Ben joined the staff of Calvary as Lead Pastor in 2019. He has served in vocational ministry for over ten years as an associate pastor, interim pastor, and most recently as a lead pastor. He's passionate about expository preaching and seeing others come to a deeper understanding of the Word.  

Ben completed his undergraduate studies at Dallas Baptist University, earning a B.B.A. in Accounting. Graduate work took him to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity, as well as Southeastern Seminary to complete a PhD in Applied Theology and Preaching. He has been married to his best friend and bride, Sarah, since 2011. Together they enjoying reading, going to coffee shops, and theatre. They have one son, Theodore.
