Elise grew up in Minnesota and came to Michigan to attend Hope College in 2007. She graduated with a degree in Special Education and Elementary Education.  She met her husband, Adam, during their time at Hope College, and they were married in 2011. Elise and her family have been attending Calvary since 2012. She taught 2 ½ years of special education for Kentwood Public Schools before stepping into her role as children’s ministry director. Adam and Elise have five children. Elise enjoys sewing, outdoor activities with Adam and the kids, and spending time with their extended family.
